Police sought the public’s assistance Friday in identifying a man suspected of attempting to sexually assault a 24-year-old woman in Canoga Park, with the release of surveillance video of the suspect.
Officers responded to the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Owensmouth Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Sunday regarding a woman approached by a man while she was walking who attempted to sexually assault her, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Detectives identified the suspect as a 6-foot-tall Hispanic man between 25 and 30 years old, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a red shirt, an orange and blue long-sleeve flannel jacket, and dark blue pants.
