A suspect was wounded by gunfire Saturday by at least one Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy in West Hollywood.
The shooting occurred about 5:40 p.m. Saturday at Gardner Street and Santa Monica Boulevard, LASD Dep. Veronica Fantom told City News Service.
The suspect was taken to a hospital for treatment but the person’s condition was not known, Fantom said. No deputies were injured.
Details of the suspect’s encounter with the deputies were not immediately available, she said.
