Los Angeles firefighters made an aggressive attack on a fire in an attached garage in Northridge Tuesday evening and contained the flames in 19 minutes.
Firefighters responded at 9:51 p.m. to a house in the 10200 block of Andasol Avenue, near Devonshire Street, where they were able to stop the flames from spreading to the house’s living space, said Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
The occupants of the home escaped unharmed, Prange said.
