A man was seriously injured and trapped in an overturned vehicle following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in the Sylmar area.
Paramedics were sent to the 16400 block of West Foothill Boulevard about 8:45 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The man trapped in the overturned vehicle was freed by firefighters, and he was taken to a hospital in serious condition, the LAFD reported.
A 19-year-old woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of “non-life-threatening injuries,” the LAFD said in a statement.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
