A man discovered Thursday with significant injuries in Jurupa Valley was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities responded to the 6300 block of Baldwin Avenue around 6:30 a.m. Thursday regarding an assault with a deadly weapon, where a man was lying on the ground severely injured, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Paramedics attempted life-saving measures but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was being withheld pending notification to relatives.
Investigators were following up on leads to identify a suspect and determine a motive for the fatal assault Thursday evening.
