A bicyclist was struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle in Riverside, authorities said Sunday.
Firefighters and paramedics dispatched at 7:55 p.m. Saturday to Streeter Avenue, north of Lantana Street, located the bicyclist suffering from serious injuries, said Sgt. Dan Macias of the Riverside Police Department.
“The bicyclist was pronounced deceased on scene. Following the collision, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene,” Macias said.
