A two-vehicle crash in the Westwood area Tuesday left five people injured, one seriously, authorities said.
Paramedics sent to the 400 block of South Veteran Avenue about 11:35 a.m. transported the injured for hospital treatment, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. One person was in serious condition and the others were in fair condition.
Two of the people were trapped in the wreckage, but were freed by firefighters, the LAFD reported. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
