Firefighters contained a blaze at a residence in Moreno Valley Thursday.
The Riverside County Fire Department responded to a report of a single-story dwelling with “heavy fire through the roof” shortly after 8:45 a.m. Thursday in the 11000 block of Sunglow Drive, according to a department statement.
Firefighters will remain at the scene for up to two hours, according to the statement. One patient, assessed to have minor injuries, was transported to a local hospital.
