Officers recovered a handgun during a traffic stop Sunday morning in Long Beach, authorities said.
The stop occurred at about 3:10 a.m. Sunday in the area of 10th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
The suspect, who was determined to be a prohibited possessor, was arrested and the investigation was ongoing.
