An argument led one man to shoot another to death Wednesday in Panorama City.
The shooting occurred at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday in front of 8744 Cedros Avenue, east of Pacoima Wash, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
Witnesses described hearing 15 to 20 gunshots and seeing a possible suspect flee in a vehicle, he said.
They found a man believed about 30 years-old down on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds, the officer said.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Cedros Avenue between Parthenia and Rayen streets was closed for investigation, according to a news videographer at the scene.
