A 48-year-old Tarzana man turned himself in to police in connection with a hit-and-run crash that critically injured a pedestrian in his 60s, authorities said Friday.

Jessee Robinson was arrested and booked by Valley Traffic detectives for suspicion of felony hit-and-run and was held on $80,000 bail, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim was walking in a marked crosswalk at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday on Reseda Boulevard and Clark Street when he was struck by a southbound black Ford F-150 pickup truck on Reseda Boulevard, turning left onto Clark, police said.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

“Motorists are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves,” the police department stated.
