A man who was shot to death in the unincorporated Westmont area of South Los Angeles was identified by county authorities Tuesday.
Marvin Mitchell, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office said.
The shooting occurred about 8 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of West 87th Street and Budlong Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
There was no suspect information immediately available.
