A man was killed Sunday when his motorcycle and a vehicle collided in a Pomona intersection.
The crash occurred at 12:32 p.m. Sunday at Indian Hill Boulevard and Kingsley Avenue, according to the Pomona Police Department.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene despite lifesaving measures performed by first responders, police said.
The driver of the vehicle was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries and was cooperating with the investigation, police said. Drugs and/or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
The intersection was shut down for the investigation and clean-up until about 5 p.m.
