At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday in East Los Angeles.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the northbound San Ana (5) Freeway and East Cesar Chavez Avenue at 12:19 a..m where they found a sedan and a black Tesla on fire and blocking two lanes of the freeway, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
According to the CHP, one of the vehicles ran off the freeway ramp and slammed into several cars.
The victim – whose name, age and gender were not immediately known- was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
