A shooting Sunday morning in Watts has left one woman dead and another one wounded, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched at 2 a.m. to a report of a shooting in the area of East 104th Street and Wilmington Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.
Paramedics rushed a woman to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Another woman was transported to a hospital by a private vehicle, where she had stable vital signs.
According to ABC7, the shooting occurred at a vigil for a woman who was killed last Monday by her boyfriend.
