A SWAT team was deployed by the Los Angeles Police Department Wednesday in responding to a shooting suspect in the Historic South-Central neighborhood.
Police said the man is suspected of being involved in a shooting that occurred Tuesday, and returned to his residence before noon Wednesday, where he was barricaded in the 800 block of East Adams Boulevard, according to the LAPD.
The suspect was described as a 29-year-old man.
Further details on the alleged shooting were not immediately available.
