A 28-year-old woman whose 16-month-old son tested positive for cocaine was charged Friday with felony child abuse and endangerment.
Quynh Gia Vo was arrested after she brought her son to a hospital, where he tested positive to the drug Wednesday, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.
Vo pleaded not guilty to the charge and denied a sentencing enhancement for great bodily injury on a child younger than 5 at her arraignment in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana, according to court records.
Vo was next due in court May 5 in the West Justice Center in Westminster for a pretrial and bail review hearing.
