Firefighters worked Saturday from the air and on the ground to contain a one-acre brush fire in the Studio City area of Los Angeles.
The fire was reported at 3:36 p.m. Saturday in the 3100 block of North Coldwater Canyon Avenue near Mulholland Drive and Coldwater Canyon Park, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
“LAFD Air Ops and the firefighters working from the north are making good progress,” Stewart said. “Wind conditions are 5-7 mile-per-hour winds. Due to the terrain and isolated area, a significant number of resources are en route to assist.”
No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported, she said.
