A man was found shot to death in Lancaster and sheriff’s homicide detectives Friday are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies from the Lancaster Station responded at 9:28 p.m. Thursday to the 2100 block of East Avenue J-8, west of 22nd Street East where they found the victim, said homicide Lt. Michael Modica.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
