Police are investigating a shooting in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
Officers were dispatched at about 7 p.m. Friday to the 6700 block of Cherry Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“Upon arrival, officers located evidence indicating a shooting had occurred,” police said. “Suspect information and the motive for the shooting are under investigation.”
No injuries were reported.
