A 22-year-old West Covina man was charged Thursday with intentionally attacking a bicyclist in a hit-and-run collision in Fullerton.
Christian Isaiah Diaz was charged with attempted murder with a sentencing enhancement for attempted premeditated murder.
Diaz is accused of deliberately hitting a 31-year-old man riding a bicycle about 1:30 p.m. July 22 while the defendant was driving a Dodge Challenger at South Harbor Boulevard and West Orangethorpe Avenue, police said.
The victim was treated at a hospital and released, police said.
