A 76-year-old man who was the subject of a Silver Alert after last being seen in Placentia has been found, the California Highway Patrol announced early Wednesday.
Humberto Sanchez was found at 11:22 p.m. Tuesday, according to the CHP, which did not release additional details, as is customary in missing persons cases.
Sanchez had last been seen at approximately 7 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of La Jolla Street and Arnold Drive, according to the CHP, which issued the alert on behalf of the Placentia Police Department.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
