A Silver Alert was in effect Thursday for a 68-year-old woman who was reported missing in Mead Valley.

Fabiola Corrales-Juarez was last seen about 2 p.m. Sunday on West Highway 74 and Kimes Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Corrales-Juarez was described as 4 feet, 11 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white top, sweatpants and rainbow sneakers. Authorities believe she’s traveling on foot.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts was asked to call 911.

The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issues and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
