A 65-year-old man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Rowland Heights was identified Tuesday by county authorities.
The victim, identified as Ezra Kang by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office, died at the scene of the crash, which was reported at 8:26 a.m. Monday on southbound Fullerton Road at Pathfinder Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A pole was knocked down and a fire hydrant was sheared at the location, the CHP reported.
Southbound Fullerton Road was closed between Pathfinder Road and Sunrise Drive as officers and rescue crews responded to the wreck.
The street closure ended about 12:15 p.m. Monday, according to the CHP.
