A man was shot Tuesday while walking with his family in West Hollywood.

The shooting occurred shortly after noon in the 7900 block of Norton Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, although his vital signs were stable, authorities said.
