An officer and another person were bitten by a dog in Pacoima Tuesday.
The officer was at the scene of a cleanup of some kind in the area of Bradley Avenue and Montague Street around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday when the canine attacked, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
An LAPD spokeswoman could not immediately confirm a report by CBS2 that at least one shot was fired at the location.
Two rescue ambulances were called to the scene.
One person was taken to a hospital with a leg injury while a second person was being treated by paramedics at the scene, according to KTLA5.
