A man became trapped and suffered a leg injury while climbing a fence in Hollywood Friday.
Crews arrived at 1758 N. Taft Ave. after getting a call around 12:15 p.m. Friday that an approximately 40-year-old man had been injured while attempting to scale a fence, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The man had to be removed from the fence and received medical assessment and care while department Urban Search and Rescue personnel worked to extricate him.
The patient was conscious and alert prior to hospital transport, the LAFD reported.
