A woman was injured Saturday when she was struck by a vehicle while walking in Long Beach.
The injury was reported about 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the 3100 block of East Broadway at Paloma Avenue, Long Beach Police Department Sgt. Bradford Stein told City News Service.
The woman was walking on Broadway when she was struck by a passing vehicle that fled the scene, Stein said. A description of the vehicle was not provided.
She was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where she had stable vital signs, he said.
The investigation continued.
