Police Wednesday sought additional potential victims of a now-jailed 35-year-old man suspected of sexually assaulting multiple victims.

Police said parolee Agustin Vidana is being investigated for multiple alleged sexual assaults reported by victims.

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Station are looking into the possibility that similar offenses occurred in the area and have released a photo of Vidana in hopes of encouraging potential additional victims to come forward.

Detectives initially began investigating following a reported crime in the area of San Fernando Road and Sheldon Street, according to the LAPD.

Vidana is believed to be homeless, but frequents Sun Valley and has claimed residency, police said, noting that he is suspected of allegedly approaching women walking within the vicinity with the intent to engage in a sexual relationship.

He remains jailed at the Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic in lieu of $1.375 million after being arrested May 28 on suspicion of kidnapping, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s jail records.

At the time of his latest arrest, he was already jailed on a no-bail hold after being arrested on May 19 on suspicion of violating parole. The offense in that case was not immediately available, although jail records showed he was booked on suspicion of attempted burglary in February of 2024.

Anyone with information about Vidana or any alleged assaults or victims involving the suspect was urged to contact LAPD Detective Flores at 818-834-3105 or Detective Haile at 818-834-3106. The detectives can also be contacted via email at 38566@lapd.online or 42436@lapd.online, respectively.
