A woman drove her white sport sedan through the gate and a dumpster at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles Friday.
The situation unfolded at 12:10 a.m. Friday at the courthouse on First Street between Olive and Hill streets, Los Angeles Police Department Officer J. Chaves told City News Service.
The car slammed through a gate and into a trash bin, Chaves said.
The woman was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of injuries, he said.
The crash was under investigation.
