A man was found shot to death inside a vehicle Sunday and a woman self-transported to a hospital for a gunshot wound suffered while attending a party in Los Angeles’ Westlake area, authorities said.
Officers dispatched at about 4 a.m. Sunday to the area of Sixth and Witmer streets located a man in his 30s inside a vehicle, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police learned that the victim was at a nearby party when he got into an altercation with more than one person, one of whom produced a gun and opened fire.
The woman at the scene who was also shot had stable vital signs, according to the LAPD’s Media Relations Section.
