A person was treated and transported to a hospital from an outside fire that extended into a single-family home in Granada Hills, authorities said Sunday.

The approximately 33 firefighters dispatched at 11:09 p.m. Saturday to the 11000 block of North Encino Avenue had the fire out within 21 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

“Firefighters operated in an offensive mode. One patient was medically treated and transported,” said Jamie Stewart of the LAFD. “No further exposures or extension.”

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was notified about wires down.

No other injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
