
Three juveniles have admitted their involvement in burglaries at an elementary school in Buena Park and a junior high school in Fullerton during which iPads and laptop computers were stolen, police said Thursday.
The most recent burglary took place on Sunday at Whitaker Elementary School at 8401 Montana St., according to Buena Park police.
The crime was investigated as one in a series that have taken place in the past few weeks, police said.
Detectives identified three juvenile suspects who admitted to burglaries at Whitaker as well as one at Nicholas Junior High School at 1100 W. Olive Ave. in Fullerton, police said.
Several stolen laptops and iPads were recovered, police said.
“The juveniles will be charged in juvenile court with felony counts of burglary, possession of stolen property and vandalism,” according to a police statement.
