Los Angeles Dodgers players, manager Dave Roberts and his coaching staff will be presented with their National League championship rings Saturday by youth representing programs connected to the team’s foundation and initiatives.

Ring presenters will include students from schools that surround Dodger Stadium that are part of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s Community of Schools program; a student from the team’s LA Reads initiative; a recipient of a Dodger Blue Wish; and a member of a gold star military family that received a visit from first baseman Cody Bellinger and infielder-outfielder Kike Hernandez during the Dodgers’ 2018 community tour.

Rings will also be presented by players from Dodgers RBI youth baseball program and Urban Compass and Vision to Learn programs which receive grants from the foundation, the team’s official charity, which supports programs in sports and recreation, education and literacy, health and wellness benefiting children and families throughout the Los Angeles area.

Team officials are suggesting fans be in their seats by 5:30 p.m. for the ring ceremony. Dodger Stadium’s auto gates will open at 3:40 p.m. and stadium gates at 4:15 p.m. for the 6:10 p.m. game against the San Francisco Giants.

U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Dan Stromberg will be honored as the Military Hero of the Game. Stromberg is a pilot who has accrued 4,000 hours in the air during his more than 19 years in the Air Force, including combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The national anthem will be sung by the recording artist Tinashe.
