A maintenance power outage is scheduled for Huntington Park Tuesday.
Southern California Edison will turn off power to conduct maintenance work from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the area enclosed by East 60th place, Randolph Street, Arbutus Avenue and State Street, the city of Huntington Park said in a statement.
The scheduled times provided by Edison are subject to change, the city said. Residents are encouraged to contact Edison about using generators by calling 1-888-759-6059.
The outage will occur while Huntington Park is under an extreme heat weather warning which will last from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
