Arizona State University announced Wednesday it will begin offering its Artificial Intelligence in Business master’s degree program at its downtown Los Angeles campus in fall 2026.
The Los Angeles master’s in AI program will mirror ASU’s existing program offered in Tempe, Arizona, according to the university. A part of ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business, the STEM-designated program will cover areas such as enterprise analytics, data visualization, and more.
“Expanding the MS-AIB program to Los Angeles builds on ASU’s commitment to innovation and access while connecting students directly with the industries shaping the future of AI in business,” Ohad Kadan, Charles J. Robel Dean and W.P. Carey Distinguished Chair in Business, said in a statement.
A goal of the program is to emphasize the mindful usage of AI, according to the university.
ASU professor of information systems Pei-yu (Sharon) Chen said in a statement the MS-AIB course work teaches students “how to approach (AI) with care and accountability.”
Students pursuing a Master’s of Science in Artificial Intelligence at the university will take courses at ASU’s California Center Broadway facilities in downtown LA. International Students in the program will be given the opportunity to pursue up to three years of work experience in the U.S. after graduation through optional practical training eligibility, ASU officials said.
