Former Democratic presidential candidate and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will visit Pasadena Friday as part of a signing tour promoting her book, “What Happened.”
But if you don’t have a ticket, don’t bother showing up.
The event at Vroman’s Bookstore on Colorado Boulevard is completely sold out. In fact, the president of Vroman’s, Allison K. Hill, told the San Gabriel Valley Tribune last month that tickets for the book-signing sold out in 90 minutes, “the fastest we’ve ever sold out for an event.”
Clinton’s book is touted as her “most personal memoir yet,” taking readers through the emotional highs and lows of the presidential campaign, her interactions with now-President Donald Trump and her efforts to cope with her loss at the ballot box.
She also addresses Russian involvement in the election and an opponent who “broke all the rules.”
Clinton’s appearance at Vroman’s is scheduled for 2 p.m. People who have already purchased the $30 tickets will be allowed to line up beginning at 9 a.m., and must be in line no later than 11 a.m. Attendees are being asked not to bring large purses or backpacks due to Secret Service security restrictions.
