Comedian Anne Meara’s star is on the same piece of Hollywood Terrazo as her husband of 61 years, Jerry Stiller, but her name is in the pantheon of Hollywood stars.
Meara, 85, died Saturday, her family announced Sunday.
The Stiller and Meara comedy team’s star was installed Feb. 7, 2007 directly in front of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce‘s office, 7018 Hollywood Blvd.
Stiller and Meara were a comedy team back to the days of early television, and ever since. They were also the parents of comedian Ben Stiller, and made TV appearances into their 80s.
