James Bond continued to dominate North American theaters over the weekend, despite a dramatic drop in ticket sales from a week ago, according to final figures released Monday.

“Spectre” earned $33.7 million between Friday and Sunday to keep the latest Bond film atop the box office, according to Rentrak. The film has earned nearly $129 million in its two weeks of release.

“The Peanuts Movie,” the big-screen adaptation of the classic Charlie Brown and Snoopy comic strip, held on to second place with $24 million. “Love the Coopers,” meanwhile, debuted in third place with $8.3 million.

Matt Damon’s “The Martian” also continued attracting audiences, earning $6.7 million to push its seven-week take to a gaudy $207.4 million.

“The 33,” the dramatic re-telling of the rescue story of trapped Chilean miners, opened in fifth place with $5.8 million.

Rounding out the top 10 films of the weekend were “Goosebumps” ($4.6 million); “Bridge of Spies” ($4.3 million); “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” (a Bollywood film debuting at $2.4 million); “Hotel Transylvania 2” ($2.3 million); and “The Last Witch Hunter” ($1.5 million).
