Mick Jagger’s former lover, Texas model Jerry Hall, is engaged to media mogul Rupert Murdoch, proving again that billions of dollars conquer all. Also that no good marriage goes unmocked.
It will be the fourth marriage for Murdoch, 84, and the first for Hall, 59, although she lived with the Rolling Stones frontman for many years.
Rumors of their relationship have circulated for months, and the couple were a presence at the Golden Globe awards in Beverly Hills.
A spokesman quoted by the BBC said: “They have loved these past months together” and were “thrilled to be getting married and excited about their future.”
