Four-time Grammy winner Lionel Richie will take the stage at Monday’s Grammy Awards ceremony, and his career will also be celebrated with performances by Luke Bryan, John Legend, Demi Lovato and Meghan Trainor, The Recording Academy announced Tuesday.
According to the academy, Bryan, Legend, Lovato and Trainor will perform a medly of hits spanning Richie’s career, beginning with Commodores-era classics. Richie will then join the group on stage.
The appearances will be the first at the Grammys for Bryan, Lovato and Trainor.
Richie is being honored this year as the 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year.
The Grammy ceremony will be held Monday night at Staples Center and broadcast live on CBS.
Other artists scheduled to perform during the show are Adele, James Bay, Andra Day, Ellie Goulding, Sam Hunt, Tori Kelly, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood and The Weeknd.
