Natalie Cole’s longtime business manager filed court papers to administer the late singer’s estate.
Howard Grossman, who also has been a business manager for Britney Spears and actress Kelly LeBrock, filed the petition Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court.
He is asking a judge to allow him to manage the estate’s assets and liabilities, as well as admit Cole’s will to probate. A hearing on Grossman’s petition is scheduled for May 17.
The Grammy-winning singer died Dec. 31 from heart failure induced by lung disease at age 65. The daughter of the legendary Nat “King” Cole underwent a kidney transplant in 2009 after battling drug problems and hepatitis C.
