Sections of Pacific Coast Highway and Topanga Canyon Boulevard will be closed this week for repairs related to the 2025 Palisades Fire, officials said Sunday.

The ongoing work includes fire damage repair, utility work, retaining walls and slope stabilization, Malibu city officials said.

Drivers can expect delays on PCH from Temescal Canyon Road to Carbon Beach Terrace, with speeds reduced to 35 mph from Temescal Canyon to Sunset Boulevard, and 25 mph through active work zones. Single-lane closures may occur weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The following closures are expected:

— PCH from Las Flores Canyon Road to Sunset, weekdays 9 a.m.-3 p.m.;

— PCH from Carbon Canyon Road to Las Flores, northbound lane closed 7 a.m.-3 p.m., 5 a.m.-5 p.m. weekends, southbound lane closed 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays, 5 a.m.-5 p.m. weekends;

— PCH south of Big Rock Drive, northbound lane closed daily 9 a.m.-3 p.m.;

— PCH south of Topanga Canyon – Sunset Blvd, northbound reduced to one lane as needed;

— PCH near Coastline Drive and Porto Marina Way (Getty Villa area), northbound lane closures 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Additionally, Topanga Canyon Boulevard will be closed daily from midnight to 5 a.m. from PCH to Grand View Drive, with one-lane traffic with pilot car during evening work and additional nighttime one-lane closures for utility work.
