“I am sure I have missed a lot of things that are not PC in this attraction.”
But minutes earlier, Rachel wrote: “Yes, this scene had its day, its great lines, its fun characters. But there is absolutely no reason those lines and characters can’t be incorporated into this new version of the scene.
“Frankly, I am excited to see the Redhead as a cool pirate. That’s a POTC ride character that little girls might find cool, for instance. But honestly, it’s a surprise that this wasn’t changed decades ago. Good on Imagineering for finding a clever, respectful way to do it now.”
