An 87-year-old woman who went missing in Desert Hot Springs, prompting the activation of a Silver Alert in Riverside County and four other counties, was found Monday.
Marie Brumble was last seen at 3:28 p.m. Saturday near Dillon and Corkill roads, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
The CHP reported Monday that Brumble had been found at an unspecified location. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance were not disclosed.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
