The people who scouted and found filming spots for shows such as “The Crown” and “Stranger Things” and films including “Mudbound” and “Lady Bird” were among the nominees announced Thursday for the fifth annual Location Managers Guild International Awards.
The awards honor productions “in which the creative use of filming locations enhances or helps to drive the storyline.”
The guild also honors government film commissions that provide support to production companies. Los Angeles County’s film office, FilmL.A., was among the nominees announced for outstanding film commission.
The awards will be presented April 7.
