Marking the 10th anniversary of its Galaxy-brand phones, Samsung Wednesday will open a pop-up store at the Americana at Brand that the company says will give visitors a chance to experience the company’s latest offerings in communications technology.
“Our new Samsung Experience Stores are spaces to experience and see Samsung technology brought to life, to empower people to do what they never thought was possible before,” according to YH Eom, president and CEO of Samsung Electronics America. “We want to build a playground for Samsung fans — a place to learn about and try out all of the amazing new products we have to offer.”
The Glendale store will be one of only three opening across the country. The others will be in New York and Houston.
According to Samsung, the store will feature 4D virtual-reality technology in a 4K gaming lounge, and customers will be able to check out the company’s 8K televisions.
The store will also see products including smartphones, tablets, TVs and “SmartThings” devices.
