The 28-year-old son of former Los Angeles Lakers star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing a neighbor in San Clemente, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said Friday.
Adam Abdul-Jabbar was arrested after authorities went to the 300 block of Calle Guaymus about 10 p.m. Tuesday when a stabbing was reported, said Carrie Braun of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
He was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and released on $25,000 bail Wednesday, Braun said.
The victim, a man whose name was withheld, was stabbed multiple times and drove himself to a hospital, Braun said. His condition was not immediately known, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Acccording to TMZ.com, Adam Abdul-Jabbar appeared on “Celebrity Family Feud” with his famous father in 2017, and stands 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.
