Awards-season favorites including “Mank,” “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” and “The Trial of the Chicago 7” were among the films receiving nominations Thursday for the Art Directors Guild’s 25th annual Excellence in Production Design Awards.

The three movies were all nominated in the period feature film category, along with “Mulan” and “News of the World.”

For contemporary films, nominations went to “Da 5 Bloods,” “I’m Thinking of Ending Thngs,” “Palm Springs,” “Promising Young Woman” and “The Prom.”

The ADG Awards will be presented in a digital streaming format on April 10, with a pre-show beginning at 3 p.m. and the awards at 4 p.m.

During the event, writer-director-producer Ryan Murphy, will receive the guild’s Cinematic Imagery Award, for his film and TV shows that “have consistently reflected the highest quality of production design.”

ADG Lifetime Achievement Awards will also be presented during the show. The recipients have not yet been announced.
