The Oscars have come and gone, but the traffic trouble continued in Hollywood Monday as crews dismantled the red carpet, bleachers and other decorations outside the Dolby Theatre.
Hollywood Boulevard will remain closed between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue until 6 a.m. Tuesday so crews can finish clearing the scene.
Most other streets that had been blocked to accommodate the 87th Oscars on Sunday night were back open today, but the Hollywood Boulevard closure was still forcing motorists to seek alternate routes.
Metro Red Line subway trains, which had been bypassing the Hollywood/Highland station, resumed stops at the location this morning.
